group photo SWINGIN' SOIREE...... a group of seasoned musicians playing music all will enjoy! The instrumental section is strong and swinging, and the vocals take you back to a time when song lyrics could be understood and beautiful tones were appreciated.

Leader and trombonist Eric Stevens founded the band about one year ago after having played with legendary artists such as The Temptations, Bill Watrous, Seve Turre, Pancho Sanchez, and The Four Tops.

Vocalist Melanie Vail, a popular singer in the South Sound, captivates audiences with memorable performances of tunes such as "Georgia," "You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You," and "Tangerine."

Among numerous private parties, the Soiree's previous performance venues include the Washington Athletic Club, the Northwest Landing Jazz Festival, the Tacoma Elks Club.
